CodeSwears offers two licensing tiers for our motion effects and VFX overlays. We believe in transparency: no watermarks, no hidden placeholders, and no surprise fees. Choose the tier that fits your project needs.
Free users can use all effects for"personal and commercial projects, including YouTube videos, TikTok content, client work, and social media. The only requirement is"attribution.
When using effects from CodeSwears"on the free tier, you must provide credit in"both of the following ways:
In-Video Credit
Display a visible credit on screen when the effect appears. The credit must remain visible for the"same duration as the effect runs. The text must be clearly readable (minimum 14px equivalent, contrasting colors).
Example: "Effect by CodeSwears" or "VFX: CodeSwears"
Video Description Credit
Include a credit line in your video description (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.) with a link to our platform.
Example: "Motion effects by CodeSwears - codeswears.com"
No watermarks: We never add watermarks, placeholders, or hidden branding to your exported files. Your output is clean and professional.
Pro subscribers receive"full commercial rights with"zero attribution requirements. Use our effects in client work, broadcast content, advertisements, and private projects without any credit obligations.
For free tier users, here are the specific requirements for compliant attribution:

You retain 100% ownership of all content you create using our effects. The motion effects themselves remain the intellectual property of"CodeSwears, but your final video, composition, and creative work are entirely yours. We make no claim to your revenue, royalties, or creative output.
